My paintings are my journal of the incredible rural and urban areas I have lived in and visited, such as New England, China, Spain, and Vietnam.
In all my work, I create intimate spaces that invite the viewer to peer in, move around and explore. I find communities as vibrant as the shapes of their buildings. My palette breathes life into these inanimate buildings.
I paint entirely with my fingers. It is the only way I can reveal the invisible interaction between objects, and release the emotion concealed in the overlooked.
I've expanded my portfolio of landscapes to
include BellyScapes. An expecting mother can capture the beautiful silhouette of her pregnancy with a BellyScape painting. Created from her silhouette, this landscape painting portrays the beauty of her pregnancy.
