Continuing the cultural curiosity triggered by my bicultural, Vietnamese-American heritage, my travels and life experiences have enriched and expanded my visual vocabulary.

My paintings are my journal of the incredible rural and urban areas I have visited in China, New England, Spain, and Vietnam.

In all my work, I create intimate spaces that invite the viewer to peer in, move around and explore. I find communities as vibrant as the shapes of their buildings. My palette breathes life into these inanimate buildings.

I paint entirely with my fingers. It is the only way I can reveal the invisible interaction between objects, and release the emotion concealed in the overlooked.
